Above is a print screen of another poster I created this lesson, where I used another image from the photoshoot. The advantage of using this image was that its original format was portrait which is ideal for a magazine page. I adapted the same text but also added logos of conventional music companies.

Below are photographs we took for our digipak and album images. We decided on a specific dress code of formal and suited. The reason behind this was to give the male artist some sort of authority.

Lettering ideas

Above are examples of letters we could possibly use, the main idea we would like to take on to board is to keep it very simple and stick to a maximum of 3 colours in the whole of CD packaging. Therefore it would be ideal to keep the lettering to one colour too, for now our main idea is the third one.

The reason why we are most fond of this lettering is due to the fact that our main focus is to adapt Frank Ocean's simplicity as that is what makes him spontaneous and unique. Besides that fact we believe that with our location pictures which will consists of a setting of a park the black bold lettering will really stand out.
